Frequently asked questions

How much do you charge per hour?

Whilst our inbound packages are loosely based on an amount of hours to complete the work, it might surprise you to learn that our month-to-month ongoing work isn’t governed by hours.

Right at the start, we set out to define goals with you, and then we work to hit those goals month on month.

Some months we may use more physical hours than others, but it’s our activities that prove your return on investment and that will be evident from your monthly reports.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

The short answer is, no.

We’re in it for the long term and want to work with you well into the future to help you meet your growth and revenue goals.

That said, we don’t believe in tying people into long contracts and huge commitments; we understand people want flexibility in today’s world.

Because of this, we work on annual rolling contracts with regular, 3-month break clauses for your peace of mind.

Why do I need a HubSpot licence for your inbound packages?

Simple. To save you money and deliver results.

To get the best from any inbound marketing activities you have two options: using a big collection of different digital tools that don’t talk to each other; or use an integrated sales and marketing platform, such as HubSpot. The former takes much more time and costs more in the long run.

HubSpot is our preferred platform of choice and helps us to both carry out your marketing activities as well as monitor and measure the performance of those activities.

How long does it take to see results?

On average, clients on our Growth package will start to see their inbound efforts paying off between 3-6 months, with larger growth starting to show above the 6-month mark.

It’s important to understand, however, that inbound marketing is about building a lead generation machine that creates a compound effect to drive more results as time goes by.

If you need results quicker, then you can either add more inbound activities (blogging, content offers, or social prospecting) or add in some paid advertising, such as Google AdWords.

We need help now! When can we start working together?

After we’ve dotted the i’s and crossed the t’s, we aim to schedule our project kick-off meeting with you within 2 weeks.

Can’t I just hire an internal marketing person?

Yes, you can. But…

You’ll be hiring one lone employee. They won’t have the skills, know-how, or experience to offer you the same level of service or performance as we can.

With us, you get access to the entire team, not just one person. We have years of marketing experience that works, as well as the power of HubSpot behind us to call upon.

Plus, our package prices are very transparent. With an employee, there are lots of hidden costs such as NI contributions, pensions, bonuses, equipment, training, holidays, sick pay, the list goes on.

I have an existing marketing team in place, can you work them?

We recognise that no one knows everything and even established marketing teams need help from time to time.

Whilst we generally work with companies as their marketing partner (a bit like an external marketing department), we can also work with businesses on a consultancy basis.

This can work in a number of ways:

  • Inbound marketing training via workshops
  • Initial marketing planning, research and strategy using our Inbound Marketing Blueprint
  • Or working with your internal team over a fixed period to skill them up whilst handling the day to day marketing activities, looking to gradually hand over the reigns.
